Bran Muffins Recipe
2 .1/2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1.1/2 cups oil
1 litre butter milk
5 ,1/2 cups flour
8 tsp baking soda
2 cups all bran cereal
3 cups bran flakes or nut bran
1 cup molasses
2 cups raisins
vanilla
This dough must not be used until 12 hours in fridge keep 2 or 3 weeks .
you can bake few at time or bake all and freeze .Beat eggs ,sugar ,vanilla add oil ,molasses . add bran cereals ,on butter milk,add the baking soda very care full
because raise very quickly add to the mix bowl then add the rest of ingredients.
measure the oil first then the molasses on same cup slide easy out a cup.
Bake 375 oven to 20 to 25 minutes
makes 4 doz
