Lisbon

Just made my scanner work today and this was the first pictures i did are from Lisbon taken on 1980 .  I do not know if this flowers shops still there .

Almond &poppyseed cake

ALMOND AND POPPY SEED CAkE

RECIPE

5 eggs

1/2 cup margarine or butter

1 cup of almonds after measure .. grounded

1 cup sugar

1 cup poppy seeds

pinch salt

1/2 tea spoon baking power

first beat of white eggs with 3 tsp sugar

put then a side

beat the butter and the rest of sugar add the eggs yolks

add salt ,vanilla.

add grounded almonds. poppyseed .

the last fold the white eggs .

drop mixture on rounded cake pan well greased

Bake at 325 or 350 degree for about 35 minutes

or more depend on oven . top 5 spoons ice sugar, vanilla 1 spoon butter.
